Job description

Bartender

$2.13/hr + tips Daily Tip Payouts, discounted employee meals. PTO, Health Benefits, 401k savings plan and match offered (qualifications vary)

Serves food and drinks, including alcoholic beverages, to guests directly (or through service well) in a friendly and timely manner.
  • Deliver Hospitality to every guest 
  • Suggest food/drink items 
  • Know liquor brands, basic liquor drinks and Razzoo’s specialty drinks 
  • Collect payment for all purchases following appropriate Company procedures 
  • Conduct age verification for alcohol service following ABC requirements and Company procedures at all times 
  • Reconcile cash drawer and daily sales receipts at end of shift 
  • Manage guest liquor consumption effectively and in accordance with ABC requirements and Razzoo’s Liquor Service Agreement 
  • Maintain ongoing cleanliness of glasses, utensils, bar equipment, bar tops, work areas and tables 
  • Fill drink orders directly from guests and from service well printer 
  • Defer all guest questions regarding allergies to the Manager on Duty 
  • Serve liquor, beer and wine directly to guests 
  • Prepare drinks in accordance with Razzo’s drink recipes and procedures 
  • Expedite and garnish food orders as necessary 
  • Serve food items to guests seated in the bar area 
  • Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks 
  • Arrange bottles and glasses to maintain attractive displays and liquor cages 
  • Plan, organize and control the operations of the bar 
  • Stock liquor appropriately when liquor orders arrive 
  • Empty trash cans using appropriate safety and sanitation measures 
  • Alert appropriate personnel to immediately empty trash cans after broken glass has been disposed in them 
  • Wash and sanitize hands after removing trash, eating and drinking, using the bathroom, touching own face or hair, or handling food prep 
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment reporting any unsafe procedures or conditions to anyone in management 
  • Comply with all applicable federal, state and local statutes as well as Razzoo’s policies and procedures 
  • Perform additional responsibilities as requested by a manager at any time 
Physical Demands

  • Must be able to bend, stoop, lift and carry items (ice, plates, trash, etc.) up to 40 lbs., and 40+ lbs. with assistance
  • Move about the kitchen areas quickly and carefully
  • Stand/walk during entire shift
  • Enter and exit kitchen with full hands
  • Climb ladder when reaching for items that are on upper shelves
  • Ability to hear with accuracy over loud background noise
  • 20/20 Near Vision, with correction – the ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer)
  • Manual Dexterity – the ability to quickly move hand, hand and arm, or two hands to grasp, manipulate or assemble objects
