Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Oversee daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations
- Ensure efficient service, food quality, and customer satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health regulations
Team Leadership
- Supervise, train, and motivate staff
- Manage employee scheduling and labor efficiency
- Foster a positive and productive team environment
Inventory & Purchasing
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate restocking
- Occasionally run to nearby stores/vendors to purchase supplies
- Ensure proper storage and minimize waste
Financial Support
- Assist in managing food cost and labor cost
- Support daily sales tracking and cash handling procedures
Menu & Service
- Maintain knowledge of menu items and ensure consistency
- Knowledge of Filipino cuisine is a plus
Customer Experience
- Address customer concerns professionally and promptly
- Ensure a welcoming and high-quality dining experience
Duties
- Lead daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient food production, timely service, and superior customer satisfaction
- Supervise and motivate staff through effective training, development, and performance management
- Oversee food handling procedures, safety standards, and cleanliness to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste.
- Involvement with working with suppliers/vendors on ordering and continually advocating for best value pricing.
- Monitor market pricing efficiency and be aware of finding other sources that has special pricing for proteins, produce and other ingredients.
- Utilize POS systems such as Toast POS and Square POS for accurate cash/card handling and sales tracking
- Coordinate shift schedules, manage labor costs, and optimize staffing levels for peak periods
- Conduct interviewing and hiring processes to build a skilled, motivated team aligned with company standards
- Ensure consistent quality of food preparation and presentation in line with brand standards
- Oversee kitchen operations including food production, cooking processes, and food safety protocols
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction
- Support catering events or banquet services as needed to expand revenue opportunities
Qualifications
- Proven management experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with supervising responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety regulations
- Bilingual (English + Tagalog or Spanish) is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
- Experience with POS systems such as Toast POS and Square POS for transactions and reporting
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and develop staff effectively
- Familiarity with inventory control practices and budgeting within a restaurant setting
- Background in hospitality management or culinary experience preferred; fine dining or hotel experience is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to handle cash/card transactions accurately and manage shift operations efficiently
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism
- Strong communication skills for team coordination and staff training
