E-FILE ADMINISTRATOR, TAX

Essential Functions:
In addition to traditional administrative support, this individual will be responsible for functions associated with the servicing of clients through:
  • E-filing and assembling tax returns for filing with tax authorities and client files
  • Owning assembly process and maintenance of filing instructions for specific tax jurisdictions, both federal and state level
  • Owning tax only engagement letter process and issuance
  • Review of time entry for generation of tax invoices
  • Other duties as requested or needed to maintain the efficient processing of documents and communications within the firm's internal operations.
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in tax administration, paralegal work, church/nonprofit administration, editing, teaching or other highly detail-driven role
  • Experience in a CPA Firm environment and/or experience with CCH Axcess amp; Workflow (XCM) is a plus
  • Ability to work overtime during peak seasons (typically March – May and September – November)
  • Strong in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills; ability to get along well with diverse personalities; tactful, mature, and flexible.
  • Ability to operate independently and self-manage projects.
  • Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism.
  • Sound administrative skills; well-developed management skills.
  • Ability to establish credibility and be decisive, but able to recognize and support the Partners’ preferences and priorities.
  • Comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with normal activities.
  • Preferred: Degree in Business, Communications or related field
  • Preferred: Experience with e-filing and assembling tax returns
