The Fulfillment Clerk positions is primarily responsible for the outgoing shipment of containers and product lines using FedEx, UPS, and Post Office (USPS). The main functions in this role are creating orders using shipping software and FileMaker, as well as packaging the material to be shipped.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Communicate with other departments regarding orders and procedures.
  • Manage the shipping “queue” and maintain 24–48-hour turn-around on outgoing orders.
  • Provide shipping quotes for potential sales.
  • Provide weekly production metrics to Management.
  • Participate in meetings pertaining to shipping procedures and process(es). Ability to train new hires in the department.
  • Work with other departments to maintain the shipping guidelines.
  • Alert Procurement of any low inventory levels.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • Preferred 1 year of shipping and receiving experience.
  • Stand or sit for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work independently and/or with a team.
  • Multitask in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Attention to detail and organization.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills.
  • Basic analytical and decision-making skills.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

  • Preferred 1-3 years’ experience in Shipping and Receiving.
  • Basic computer proficiencies in Microsoft Office.
  • Proficient in use of FileMaker and Receiving Software.
