Pay Range: $71,806.97 - 89,040.64 annually
Job Description: Your Piece of the Puzzle
As a Store Merchandising Manager at NFM, you would be responsible for oversight of all merchandising activities in your assigned location and market. You will be challenged to meet the needs of our external customers by ensuring our store is arranged and displayed to provide a world class shopping experience.
Job Duties: A Day in the Life
  • Lead: Oversee the mission and critical measures of your department
  • Support: Coach and develop staff, providing them with feedback, recognition and timely reviews, and holding them accountable for fulfilling their key responsibilities and goals
  • Analyze: Review inventory and manage the inventory life cycle including effective pricing strategies on aged inventory
  • Plan: Develop and maintain standard comprehensive set of documented processes and procedures for the merchandising work group
  • Communicate: Manage communication with advertising department or external ad agencies, sales departments or visual merchandising regarding division and category planning, competitive shops, upcoming advertising and promotions

Qualifications: Can You Check These Boxes?
  • Bachelor's degree in merchandising, marketing, communications, business, or related field preferred
  • 5 years of merchandising experience, preferably across multiple categories including furniture, electronics, appliances, ect. required
  • 5 years of supervisory/management experience required
  • Strong negotiation skills required
  • Adobe Acrobat and Filemaker skills required
  • Proficient computer skills plus knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Valid driver's license and ongoing acceptable driving record
  • Moderate travel required (approximately 20-40% of the time)
  • Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs
  • Pre-employment screening includes, but isn't limited to, criminal background check
