Job Overview: Reporting to the Store Manager you will be responsible to: 

  • Demonstrate Four Rivers Co-operative's values of Responsibility, Integrity, Service, and Excellence in everything you do

  • Provide leadership to the team, including goal setting, performance management, training and development of team members 

  • Provide day to day direction and guidance, collaborate with the manager to ensure efficient scheduling 

  • Contribute to the efficient purchasing, invoice reconciliation, inventory management, shipping and receiving as well as pricing strategies to achieve optimum sales and margins

  • Demonstrate your commitment to OHS and the importance of it to all our employees, contractors, and visitors

  • Participate in the development of strategies to improve customer service, drive store sales, improve profitability and maintain employee engagement

  • Be available for emergency calls from team members when off shift, on a rotational basis 

  • Willing to attend meetings and training opportunities as required

  • Oversee and maintain the File Maintenance function, including working with Vista, handling customer accounts, processing the receiving book, claims, and accurately processing and tracking truck tickets

  • Conduct inventory counts and accurately input data into software programs

  • Ensure all item numbers match description and resolve discrepancies

  • Conduct location corrections and price confirmations as required

  • Review reports regularly to ensure any necessary corrections are completed

  • Participate in technical support that oversee the software system 

  • Assisting with cycle counts and file maintenance tasks

  • Serve customers on the till in a timely manner while accepting multiple methods of payment

  • Positive attitude and proven ability to work with the team in a culture of sales and service

  • Maintain Four Rivers Co-op's high standards for customer service

What You Bring:

  • Knowledge of Petroleum, Agro and livestock products would be an asset

  • Good computer skills and demonstrated experience with Point-of-Sale system

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs and climb ladders safely as required

  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple demands

  • Detail oriented with a commitment to quality and an eye for detail

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, along with a can-do attitude
