Job Description Job Title: Information Governance File Review Staff Attorney Position Status / Type: Open / Direct Hire Location: New York, Boston, Reston, Washington DC Core Mission: Utilize software and document review workflows to gather and examine large volumes of electronic and physical records for client file transfers, legal holds, and information governance compliance functions. The role requires the maturity to operate independently with minimal guidance. Position Responsibilities Document Review: Perform substantive reviews of physical and electronic records; analyze information to determine its relevance to specific cases.

Coding & Tagging: Code documents for responsiveness, relevancy, confidentiality, privilege, and risk management issues using e-discovery software to narrow down the review. Collaboration & Special Projects: Assist with legal hold reviews, partner with the Office of the General Counsel on risk management issues, and participate in special compliance projects. Skills and Experience Required Qualifications Education & Experience: JD Degree with 5+ years of experience specializing in document review and workflows.

Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of electronic document review platforms and retrieval applications (such as Relativity, Documatrix, and Concordance), alongside Microsoft Office and iManage. Legal Knowledge: A thorough understanding of the rules surrounding attorney-client and attorney work product privileges. Flexibility: Willingness to maintain ongoing professional training, work extended/weekend hours as needed, and travel if required.

Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree. Prior litigation experience. Experience utilizing O365/M365, GSuite, and iManage / Govern systems.
