DOOLITTLE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
20 HOURS PER WEEK
Description:
The Learning Support Tutor (LST) provides intervention and instruction to students who are not yet performing at grade level in reading or math. The LST works with individual students or small groups and follows a schedule and protocol provided by certified teachers and the school principal. The LST is also responsible for progress monitoring assessments and data entry.
Supervised by:
School Principal and/or Assistant Superintendent and/or their designee.
Qualifications:
  • College degree (teaching certification preferred)
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of reading and writing skill building
  • Knowledge of foundational math concepts
  • Knowledge of progress monitoring measures (eg. reading fluency and comprehension)
  • Experience working with elementary students

Salary: Starting at $20.00/Hour
