POSITION TITLE: Elementary Title- Tutor
SALARY SCHEDULE: $34.79/hr
REPORTS TO: Building Principal-non-public school
I. GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Title Elementary Tutor works under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent and Building Principals to provide tutoring in reading and mathematics for students in grades K-6.
The tutor supports each student in the acquisition of basic reading and mathematical skills.
II. EXAMPLES OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Providing support for students in reading and math in after school tutoring program.
B. Documenting, data collecting and progress monitoring of student achievement.
C. Utilizing appropriate technology to aid students in the acquisition of knowledge, skills and understanding.
D. Other duties as assigned.
III. TRAINING, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
A. Valid Kansas Teaching License
