Corpus Christi Catholic School is seeking a faithful, enthusiastic and dynamic
5th grade Math and Science Teacher to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year. Applicants must be in support of the mission and vision of Corpus Christi Catholic School and has experience working with middle school students. The ideal candidate has a math and science background, is strong in their behavior management system, and desires to work in a faith-filled environment.

Responsibilities:
- Recognizes and supports the mission of Corpus Christi Catholic School by modeling the teachings of the Catholic Church and integrating faith into daily interactions and learning experiences
- Builds authentic, caring relationships with students, recognizing that children learn best when they feel known, valued, challenged, and loved.
- Fosters a classroom culture where curiosity, perseverance, and respect encourage students to ask questions, take academic risks, learn from mistakes, and grow in confidence.
- Establishes a consistent disciplinary approach which promotes self-direction and positive self-image; sets high standards for student behavior and successfully manages inappropriate behavior effectively
- Designs and delivers engaging, standards-based math and science instruction that inspires inquiry, critical thinking, problem-solving, and a love of learning
- Provides hands-on, collaborative learning experiences that encourage students to investigate, explore, and make meaningful connections between classroom concepts and the world around them
- Differentiates instruction to meet the academic, developmental, and social-emotional needs of all learners, including students with accommodations and diverse learning needs
- Develops instructional plans and organizes class time to provide a balanced program of instruction, demonstration, and working time
- Continues to participate in professional development by attending seminars, workshops or professional meetings
- Encourages parental involvement in students' education and ensures effective communication with students and parents
- Coordinates with other school professional staff members, especially within grade level, and participates in faculty meetings and committees

Required Qualifications:
- Current Professional Educators License or endorsement
- Bachelor's Degree
