Job description

Production Operator

Responsibilities:

  • Operate production equipment as outlined in SOP's and batch cards.
  • Perform all job functions in accordance with all established safety rules and policies.
  • Perform any additional duties assigned by Production Supervisor of Leadman.
  • Keep all partial bags of material sealed.
  • Replace missing labels on raw materials.
  • Raw materials are placed in the correct location.
  • Housekeeping, sweeping and moping the racks daily and keeping the oil house organized.
  • Follow First In First Out (FIFO) procedures when sending up raw materials.
  • Follow all shelf-life procedures.
  • Properly empty drums and dispose of them properly
  • Complete DOT Hazardous Material Training
  • Send up raw materials to blender loaders and compounders
  • Pull and prepare raw material distribution orders (DO) for shipment to other Teknor plants.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • High School or G.E.D.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
