These jobs are common in industries like mining, oil and gas, and construction, requiring workers to stay on-site for extended periods before returning home. FIFO roles often demand physical endurance, safety awareness, and the ability to work in isolated environments.

FIFO jobs typically include accommodation, meals, and travel as part of the employment package.
