Main Activities and Responsibilities
The Non-Competition Site Operations roles are key positions within the FIFA World Cup 26™ Safety and Security team, responsible for ensuring site readiness and delivering site-level security oversight for FIFA and Venue Specific Team Facilities. These facilities consist of, but are not limited to, hotels, training sites, and ticketing centers that a participating national football team or FIFA staff/VIPs will occupy prior to and during tournament time.
This job posting supports multiple Non-Competition Site Operations roles, including:
  • FIFA Sites Security Specialist
  • Non-Competition Venue Specific Security Specialist
  • Non-Competition Venues Security Manager

FIFA Sites Security Specialist - Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure assigned FIFA Sites are operationally ready for security delivery prior to and throughout tournament operations
  • Verify that private security personnel are correctly briefed, trained, and deployed in accordance with their assigned duties and post orders
  • Confirm that security infrastructure and equipment (access control points, barriers, CCTV, lighting, radios, signage, etc.) are installed (where applicable), functional, and appropriately configured
  • Act as the on-site security focal point for assigned FIFA Sites during tournament-time operations
  • Oversee daily security operations, including access control, patrols, VIP protection measures (where applicable), and response readiness
  • Monitor, document, and report all security incidents, issues, and near misses at assigned FIFA Sites
  • Initiate and support incident response in coordination with the FWC26TM Safety & Security Operations Center (SSOC) and Safety and Security Senior Manager
  • Serve as primary security liaison
  • Submit daily operational reports and ad-hoc updates as required

Non-Competition Venue Specific Security Specialist - Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure assigned Venue Specific Team Facility sites are operationally ready for security delivery prior to and throughout tournament operations
  • Verify that private security personnel are correctly briefed, trained, and deployed in accordance with their assigned duties and post orders
  • Confirm that security infrastructure and equipment are installed (where applicable), functional, and appropriately configured
  • Act as the on-site security focal point for assigned Venue Specific Team Facility sites during tournament-time operations, primarily when a Team is in residence
  • Oversee daily security operations, including access control, patrols, Team protection measures (where applicable), and response readiness
  • Monitor, document, and report all security incidents, issues, and near misses at assigned Venue Specific Team Facility sites
  • Initiate and support incident response in coordination with the Safety & Security Operations Center (SSOC) and Safety and FWC26TM Security Senior Manager
  • Serve as primary security liaison
  • Submit daily operational reports and ad-hoc updates as required

Non-Competition Venues Security Manager - Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure assigned non-competition sites are operationally ready for security delivery prior to and throughout tournament operations
  • Verify that private security personnel are correctly briefed, trained, and deployed in accordance with their assigned duties and post orders
  • Provide operational oversight and direction for security delivery across assigned non-competition sites during tournament-time operations
  • Ensure that site-level security operations are effectively coordinated and delivered by assigned FWC26TM Specialists, Coordinators, and private security providers, particularly during periods of team occupancy
  • Monitor, document, and report all security incidents, issues, and risks at assigned Team Base Camp sites
  • Initiate and support incident response in coordination with the Safety & Security Operations Center (SSOC) and Safety and FWC26TM Security Senior Manager
  • Serve as security liaison across internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure clarity of roles, responsibilities, and escalation pathways at site level
  • Maintain accurate records of daily operations, incidents, staffing levels, and resource usage
  • Submit daily operational reports and ad-hoc updates as required

Your Profile
Education & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field associated with safety, security and/or project management is a plus
  • All candidates must be able to pass a comprehensive background check
  • Must be available for duration of the Team's residence
  • Must be willing to work long hours and be on call 24/7 during the tournament

Work Experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in security operations, preferably in major events, hospitality, logistics, or VIP environments
  • Experience supervising or coordinating private security services
  • Familiarity with hotel security operations and transport/logistics environments
  • Strong understanding of access control, incident response, and operational security principles
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple sites, and perform under pressure
  • Major event or international tournament experience is an advantage

Languages
  • Fluent in english (required)
  • Spanish and/or French proficiency is a strong plus
  • Additional languages beneficial due to the international nature of FIFA guests.

Technology
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools
