Job description

Job Title: Field Site Coordinator
Location: Ashburn, VA
Duration: FTE/Perm
Job Description:
A leading field services organization is seeking a Field Site Coordinator to join their team in Ashburn, VA. The Field Site Coordinator will support Field Service Leads and Operations leadership in the execution of commissioning, startup, and field service projects.

This position will coordinate schedules, labor, materials, equipment, and documentation to help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to manage multiple projects, and experience working with field teams, contractors, vendors, and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate schedules, labor, materials, equipment, and site resources for field service projects
  • Monitor project progress, milestones, action items, and potential schedule risks
  • Support technician deployment and site readiness activities
  • Coordinate resources across multiple projects and locations
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and support commissioning-related activities
  • Participate in site and project meetings
  • Serve as a liaison between field personnel, customers, contractors, vendors, and internal teams
  • Track project deliverables, schedules, and outstanding action items
  • Support project closeout and commissioning activities
  • Assist with identifying required field resources, materials, and equipment
  • Provide administrative and operational support to Field Service Leads and Operations leadership
  • Help ensure field activities are completed in accordance with company safety policies and procedures
  • Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach throughout project execution
  • Perform other duties as needed to support project and operational success

Required Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of project coordination or field service experience OR a bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, or electrical engineering
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects across different locations simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to track multiple priorities
  • Ability to work effectively with technicians, contractors, vendors, customers, and internal teams
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within the Boardman region
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle


Preferred Qualifications

  • Electrical systems background
  • Data center experience
  • Power distribution or power generation experience
  • Experience supporting commissioning, startup, or field service projects
  • Experience working in construction, electrical, industrial, or technical environments
