Job Title:         Food Service Chemist

Client:              Food Manufacturing Company
Location:         Dayton, OH 45414
Duration:         11 Months
Shift:                12-Hour Rotating Shifts
                        • 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
                        • 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
                        • Rotation between days and nights every 4 weeks
                        • 2-2-3 Schedule

Job Summary

Chemist Lv1 responsible for supporting food quality, food safety, laboratory testing, process improvement, and compliance activities within a food manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform analytical and laboratory testing
• Ensure products meet food safety and quality standards
• Monitor raw materials and production processes
• Analyze processing and wastewater data trends
• Support process improvement and waste reduction initiatives
• Troubleshoot laboratory and production issues
• Assist with audits and compliance activities
• Approve final production batches per specifications
• Communicate quality findings with operations teams
• Support calibration, maintenance, and quality systems
