Job description

The Field Operator Assistant plays a critical role in ensuring smooth field operations by efficiently collecting data, managing schedules, and coordinating with a small team. This position requires strong communication and multitasking skills to handle order tracking, reporting, and customer service while working under pressure. The Field Operator typically reports to the operations manager and office manager, This position also includes annual bonus, amount is based on employee overall performance.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and report accurate field data to report to customers via phone/email
  • Prepare reports when needed, email customer service completion emails when services are completed.
  • Coordinate with a small team (1-6 members) to ensure operational efficiency
  • Assist to Manage schedules and track Material orders, notify techs when Materials order are ready for pickup
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain open communication throughout the day with company tech's and customers, arrange tech's schedules as needed.
  • Communicate clearly with team members and management
  • Assist Office Manager and Operation Manager when needed
  • Must be able to Multitask and work under pressure in a structured shift environment
  • Create new services, for either jobs, service calls, quote request, emergency calls, projects in Jobber
  • Use Fleetshark program to monitor techs daily locations

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in field operations or dispatching in the construction industry
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of safety compliance standards
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Effective time management
  • Excel, Microsoft word, Mac, computer skills
  • Bilingual
  • Must be reliable, efficient and professional
