Job description

Welcome!

The Manager, Field Operations leads the Field Management team by defining objectives, priorities and deadlines required to meet short term goals and objectives. Is responsible for the success of each team member. Typically manages the work efforts of supervisors/individual contributors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Install / Service / Electrical Mangers and respective crews

  • Work directly with Commercial Sales and RSC's and Managers to scheduleand communicate availability

  • Work with Install and Service Mangers toManage the production schedule- monitor upcoming work to be performed in order to schedule and assign technicians and/or crews to maximize productivity

  • Verify all jobs have had permits pulled and file all permits accordingly

  • Work with Install and Service Mangers to track technician performance- Monitor for areas of improvement and reward technicians for going above and beyond

  • Oversee day to day operations of all installation jobs

  • Ensure field technicians are performing and completing their assigned tasks

  • Work with techs in the field for training needs and process improvements

  • Provides support to make sure all disciplines operate the same way and utilize processes of Pine State Services.

  • Normal Install Job Project Manager

  • Work with RSC's to make sure project is what was sold

  • Make sure job stays on track, meeting deadlines and budgets

  • Coordinating scheduling needs with I.C. and I.M.

  • Site visits

  • Track Change orders

  • Commercial Scale Job Project Manager

  • Work with Commercial Sales Advisor to make sure project is what was sold

  • Make sure job stays on track, meeting deadlines and budgets

  • Coordinating scheduling needs with I.C. and I.M.

  • Site visits

  • Jobsite meetings - with G.C. and site foreman

  • Track Change orders

  • Field Support to all technicians in the field, Service, Install, Electrical, PM

  • This position is required to be on-call

Requirements & Desired Skills:

  • Journeyman or Master License required

  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

  • Ability to work flexible hours and on-call shifts as needed

  • Must have 6 years or more of Plumbing / HVAC Management experience
