The Contribution You'll bring to this Role:
As the Field Operations Manager, you will provide leadership and direction for field supervisors and coating crews across multiple job sites while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. You will partner closely with Project Managers, Field Supervisors, and customers to maximize operational performance, develop field personnel, and support the continued growth of IMG. This position requires extensive travel to customer locations throughout the assigned service area.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced coatings professional who enjoys leading people, solving operational challenges, and traveling to support projects across the country. You'll play a key role in driving safety, quality, and customer satisfaction while helping develop the next generation of field leaders.
In this role, you will report directly to Operations Leadership. You'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact by improving field operations, mentoring supervisors, and supporting the continued growth and success of the organization.

  • Provide leadership and direction for Field Supervisors and field personnel across multiple job sites.
  • Conduct routine site visits to monitor operational performance, workmanship, productivity, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure coating crews consistently meet quality standards, production goals, and project schedules.
  • Recruit, mentor, coach, and develop Field Supervisors and field employees through hands-on training and performance management.
  • Coordinate labor assignments and staffing to maximize productivity while supporting changing project demands.
  • Conduct quality inspections, safety audits, and implement corrective action plans when necessary.
  • Build strong customer relationships by responding to concerns and ensuring exceptional service.
  • Prepare operational reports and maintain documentation related to field operations, safety, inspections, and employee performance.
  • Travel extensively, including frequent overnight travel, to support projects and field operations.

Your Skills and Expertise:
To ensure your success from day one in this role, Justrite requires the following qualifications at a minimum:
  • 3-5 years of coatings experience, including commercial or industrial painting, floor epoxy systems, polyurea applications, or other protective coating systems.
  • At least 2 years of management experience leading multiple coating crews, preferably traveling crews across multiple job sites.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with a commitment to safety and operational excellence.
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to travel extensively, including overnight travel.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Construction Management, or related field. Direct polyurea spray application experience and experience in industrial services, commercial painting, protective coatings, or construction operations are highly preferred.
