Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Field Operations Manager to manage the day-to-day heavy projects program execution and quality controls within a client, project, or geographical area. The Field Operations Manager is responsible for recruiting, hiring, and training all Merchandisers within their area of responsibility. This position is directly responsible for training, oversight, and day-to-day management of assigned Project Supervisors (PS) and hourly associates.
Essential Duties
  • Maintain a solid working knowledge of all active client programs within the assigned areas of responsibility
  • Oversee Project Supervisors and hourly associate's work quality to ensure work performed meets the standards of Driveline Retail Merchandising and its clients
  • Responsible for team productivity, time management, and cost controls for assigned projects
  • Manage costs, including drive time, mileage, and overtime, as well as additional time and expenses to meet and/or exceed the corporate budget guidelines
  • Build and maintain relationships with Driveline clients and assigned retail store management
  • Provide timely resolution of client issues within 24 hours
  • Recruit, hire, train, and retrain Project Supervisors on an ongoing basis
  • Ensure that all Project Supervisors and hourly associates are trained on Driveline's technology platforms and reporting requirements
  • Staff all assigned projects as directed by individual project scope and financial parameters
  • Oversee and manage travel for assigned employees
  • Assess, request, and manage temporary labor as required by project scope while following Driveline processes and protocols
  • Regularly work stores with Project Supervisors and hourly associates, which may include both or either day and overnight work
  • Communicate verbally and via email with Project Supervisors hourly associates on an ongoing basis, utilizing email and the Driveline touch log as documentation
  • Maintain a working knowledge of standard Human Resources protocols and procedures
  • Adhere to the Code of Business Conduct guidelines
  • Oversee a safe work environment for all employees
  • Other tasks and duties that may arise to meet Driveline's business needs

  • Must have valid, personal automobile insurance

Education and Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Management, or related field preferred or equivalent supervisory/management experience
  • 1 - 2 years of retail or field operations experience with retail and marketing experience or retail environment exposure
  • Firm understanding of retail merchandising practices

Travel Requirements
  • Approximately 65% travel is required.
  • Overnight stays may be required throughout the work week as dictated by business objectives and district boundaries.
