ProSidian Seeks a Anthropologist | Cultural Resources Field Guides [FPAC007012] Key Personnel | Subject Matter Expert I Labor Category - High Level Exempt[1099] Professional aligned under services related to NAICS: 541620 located CONUS - Charlotte, NC Across The CONUS Region supporting The FPAC Business Center is a first-of-its-kind organization at USDA, combining the talent of employees from all three FPAC agencies into specialized teams that serve employees and customers across the Farm Service Agency (FSA), the Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) and the Risk Management Agency (RMA). This new business approach helps agencies improve operations and efficiency at USDA and boosts support for America's farmers, ranchers and foresters.

Seeking Anthropologist candidates with relevant Agriculture, Forestry, Fishing, And Hunting Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Agriculture, Forestry, Fishing, And Hunting Sector Clients such as FPAC.ย  This as a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Position and ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Anthropologist | Cultural Resources Field Guides [FPAC007012]

The Anthropologist (Project Lead) is responsible for overseeing the entire project, ensuring alignment with USDA FPAC ENV's environmental compliance and cultural resource management objectives. This role involves coordinating with team members, developing work plans, and managing timelines to ensure timely delivery of all project deliverables. The Project Lead also serves as the primary liaison with the ENV COR and FPO, ensuring that all field guides meet the required standards and specifications.. Anthropologists focus on the ways of life, languages, and other characteristics of people throughout the world. Archaeologists research past cultures' impacts on the customs, values, and habits of societies in the present.

Qualifications

Education: PhD in Anthropology with emphasis in Archaeology and a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Lead.
