STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES develops and integrates products, engineering support, repair and maintenance services to provide value-added solutions to owners, engineers and contractors. We provide specialty contracting services through our contracting companies, and state-of-the-art proprietary products and engineering support services through our technologies company. With over 2,500 employees working from locations nationwide and in select international markets, we serve the Commercial, Public, Transportation Industrial, and Power markets to tackle the toughest construction challenges. STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES is the in-house engineering business line of Structural Group.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Communicates issues to supervisor.
Completes appropriate paperwork and keeps up-to-date records of all maintenance performed.
Diagnoses mechanical, fuel, and electrical problems to make repairs quickly.
Disassembles small engines and replaces worn valves, pistons, bearings, and other internal parts. Inspects equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
Continually evaluates the status of equipment (repairs needed, abuse, etc.), communicates these issues, and is responsible for maintenance and repair of all construction equipment, tools, and vehicles. Works with team to develop, implement, and monitor proactive preventative and overall maintenance/service program. Performs preventative maintenance on jobsites.
Installs equipment, machines, wiring, or programs to meet specifications.
Manages, repairs, and maintains construction equipment, small tools and vehicles. Repairs and maintains mechanical equipment using appropriate tools - servicing, repairing, adjusting, and testing machines, devices, moving parts, and equipment that operate primarily based on mechanical principles.
Performs routine maintenance on equipment and determines when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
Runs, maneuvers, navigates, or drives vehicles or mechanized equipment, such as forklifts, skid loaders or passenger vehicles.
Troubleshoots equipment to determine causes of operating errors and decides method of repair.

Performs all work in compliance with Company's safety policies as well as industry standards
Assists team in ensuring jobsite/shop is maintained in a safe manner
Promotes 24/7 Safety Culture and exhibits a Safety 24/7 attitude in all situations
Reports immediately, accurately and in full detail all incidents
Sets an example for others by demonstrating that safety is a core value
Wears all Personal Protection Equipment required by safety specifications
Is extremely safety conscious in all situations
Attends daily and weekly safety Tool Box meetings and participates in Jobsite Safety Analyses (JSA)
Physical Requirements
Able to pass a respirator fit test and wear a respirator when required on specific jobsites
Able to pass Pulmonary Function / Fit Test
Performs physical activity that requires considerable use of arms, legs, and moving whole body
Dexterity of hand and fingers to operate a computer, small hand-held power tools, office equipment
Able to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 50lbs without assistance
Physical capability to operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment
Able to speak and hear detailed information through oral communication
Has visual acuity to see items clearly and sharply and to recognize small detail
Special Requirements
Flexible with work hours
Possess valid drivers license to operate company vehicles or to drive for business purposes
Willing to travel to job sites as requested
Must supply own hand tools up to 1 inch and pneumatic tools up to 1/2 inch
