Job description

Field Geologist


Established, mid-sized Environmental Assessment and Consulting firm in Duluth, Georgia is seeking a full time Field Geologist to grow with us.


Position includes soil and groundwater sampling, report preparation, regulatory interpretation, and client interaction. Some limited overnight travel may be required, but most projects are located in North Georgia. Office is relaxed, suburban, cooperative and pet friendly.


  • Candidates must have a BS in geology or environmental science with a geologic concentration, valid driver’s license, a positive attitude and an appreciation of the outdoors. Experience will be considered but is not required. Salary is $42,000 - $60,000 per year, depending upon experience, and will be reviewed within six months of hiring. Position includes health and dental coverage, paid leave, and a Simple IRA with discretionary company matching.


  • You must be able to come to the office in Duluth for this position, with some work-from-home days after four months with the company.
