What You’ll Be Part Of

You will join a rapidly growing advanced manufacturing organization supporting high-tech and semiconductor-related industries through the design and production of complex chemical and fluid delivery systems. This team specializes in precision-engineered equipment, custom OEM assemblies, and ultra-clean process solutions that power critical manufacturing environments.

Why This Role Matters

This role serves as the technical and operational leader for the Equipment Engineering function. You will help drive engineering excellence, improve scalability, modernize workflows, and lead the execution of highly specialized equipment projects. Your expertise will directly influence product quality, operational efficiency, engineering innovation, and the company’s ability to support continued growth across multiple business units.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the design, development, and execution of chemical and fluid delivery equipment systems
• Provide technical oversight for complex assemblies including CDUs, valve boxes, process chemical equipment, and semiconductor support systems
• Develop and improve engineering standards, scalable design methodologies, and technical processes
• Serve as the primary escalation point for complex equipment design and build challenges
• Design and review equipment layouts, mechanical assemblies, and process systems using SolidWorks and other 3D modeling software
• Interpret and develop P&IDs, process flow diagrams, mechanical schematics, equipment drawings, BOMs, and fabrication packages
• Support quoting, estimating, and job costing for large-scale equipment and process systems
• Improve manufacturability, engineering accuracy, and project execution efficiency
• Build scalable engineering libraries, automation tools, and workflow improvements
• Utilize advanced Excel skills and engineering software to improve quoting speed, reporting accuracy, and productivity
• Identify opportunities for automation, scripting, and digital transformation within engineering operations
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and technical personnel
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts between Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Project Management, and Customers
• Support project execution from concept through commissioning
• Participate in customer meetings, technical reviews, and strategic growth initiatives
• Review job costs against estimates to improve estimating accuracy and operational performance

What We’re Looking For

• Strong leadership experience within equipment engineering or advanced manufacturing environments
• Expertise in chemical process equipment, fluid handling systems, and mechanical assemblies
• Advanced knowledge of P&IDs, process systems, fabrication methods, and mechanical schematics
• Proficiency with SolidWorks or equivalent 3D modeling platforms
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and engineering software skills
• Experience with quoting and estimating large assemblies and complex equipment systems
• Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on scalability and operational excellence

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within semiconductor, high-purity, or ultra-clean manufacturing environments
• Knowledge of high-purity construction piping systems
• Experience supporting semiconductor process equipment or fluid delivery systems
• Background in engineering automation, scripting, or workflow optimization
• PMP certification or formal project management experience
• Established technical leadership presence within the industry

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical field preferred
• 8+ years of experience in equipment engineering, chemical systems, fluid systems, or related industries
• 3+ years of leadership or management experience
