The ideal candidate is deeply entrenched in full stack development, with a passion for using tools and frameworks to guide the development of stable, robust, and resilient apps that best serve our customer initiatives.

The Expertiseand Skills You Bring

  • 7+ years of experience designing, building, and maintaining fullstack, customerfacing applications at enterprise scale
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum teams with a focus on delivering highquality software
  • Advanced handson expertise with Angular (11+), HTML/CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frontend patterns
  • Proven backend development experience using Java (11+), Spring Boot, and opensource technologies
  • Experience designing and building RESTful APIs, microservices, and micro frontend architectures
  • Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and tools such as Jenkins, SonarQube, Git/GitHub, Datadog, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Cloudnative development experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes, including secure and scalable deployments
  • Commitment to quality-first engineering through TDD, automated testing, and secure coding practices
  • Ability to collaborate closely with architecture, security, UX, and platform teams, while mentoring peers and contributing to engineering standards
  • Strong communication skills, an enterprise mindset, and a passion for continuous learning and technical leadership

The Team

Fidelity Charitable software engineers develop next-generation technology that directly impacts how our customers accomplish their philanthropic goals. As a Software Engineer within our technology business unit, you will help take Fidelity Charitable applications to the next level of evolution. The position will require hands-on software development, cross team collaboration with a diverse and co-located engineering team, and the ability to visualize customer issues as drivers for internal change.

Fidelity's Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
