Job Title :  SAP FICO Solutions Architect

Location :   San Francisco (Remote)

Job Description:

  • Lead the design and architecture of SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions, including core modules such as FI (Financial Accounting), CO (Controlling), Asset Accounting (AA), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Bank Accounting.
  • Translate complex business requirements into SAP finance system solutions and architecture.
  • Drive greenfield/brownfield implementations, migrations from ECC to S/4HANA, and system upgrades.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to deliver end-to-end finance solutions.
  • Ensure integration with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, PP) and external systems.
  • Provide technical leadership and best practice guidance across SAP S/4HANA finance capabilities including:
  • Universal Journal (ACDOCA)
  • Central Finance (cFIN)
  • Group Reporting
  • Profitability Analysis (COPA)
  • Planning and Budgeting (SAP Analytics Cloud or BPC)
  • Define data migration strategies and oversee successful cutover activities for finance.
  • Create and maintain detailed solution documentation, architecture diagrams, and roadmaps.
  • Stay updated with SAP innovations (e.g., RISE with SAP, SAP Fiori apps, Embedded Analytics) and advise on adoption.
  • Mentor project teams and ensure adherence to governance, compliance, and security standards.
  • Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes and regulatory requirements (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Activate methodology.
  • Proven track record of leading full lifecycle implementations and complex transformation programs.
  • Familiarity with Central Finance, Group Reporting, or Treasury Management is highly desirable.
  • Experience with integration tools (e.g., BTP, PI/PO, CPI) and reporting tools (e.g., Fiori, SAP Analytics Cloud) is a plus.
Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
