Job Summary:

The Direct Sales Representative will play a central role in bringing next-generation connectivity directly to our local communities. In this dynamic field sales role, they will connect face-to-face with prospective customers, guiding them through our full suite of residential services—including ultra-fast fiber internet, DirecTV, voice, and other value-added internet services—to match them with the perfect plan for their household.

  • This role will be based on site at one of our offices in the following markets: Southlake, TX; Georgetown, TX, Killeen, TX or Omaha, NE. Multiple openings are available in each market.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of FiberFirst products, add-on internet services, pricing, competitive offerings, and technical capabilities to confidently educate potential customers.
  • Deliver engaging, personalized sales presentations to homeowners and residents, effectively communicating product value and overcoming objections on the spot.
  • Consult with prospects, negotiate options, and secure sales agreements to expand our customer footprint in assigned territory.
  • Represent FiberFirst at company-sponsored community events, pop-ups, and marketing activations to generate leads and sales.
  • Ensure seamless order submission by precisely completing customer contracts, paperwork, and daily tracking reports.
  • Provide exceptional initial onboarding and post-sale follow-up to build trust and foster long-term customer advocacy.
  • Partner with sales leaders and peers to share field insights, refine sales strategies, and achieve collective territory targets.
  • Consistently meet or exceed established monthly personal and team sales quotas.
  • Adhere to all company policies, local solicitation guidelines, ethical sales standards, and industry regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and / or Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in door-to-door, direct sales, retail, or customer-facing roles with a proven track record of meeting quotas.
  • Experience using CRM platforms, digital point-of-sale systems, or tablet-based sales applications.

Required Skills / Abilities:

  • Strong verbal communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • High degree of self-motivation, endurance, and ability to work independently in the field.
  • Technical aptitude to comfortably navigate mobile sales devices, apps, and scheduling tools.
  • Ability to work full-time hours, including late afternoon or weekend shifts when residential outreach is highest.
  • Preferred Bilingual fluency (English/Spanish).
