Fiber Optic Laser Operator – 1st or 2nd Shift
Location: Fort Worth, TX 76110
Pay: $19.00–$20.00 per hour, or more depending on experience

  • 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Position Overview
Smith Personnel is hiring experienced Fiber Optic Laser Operators to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with CNC laser cutting equipment and be comfortable working independently with minimal supervision in a shop environment.
This position focuses on operating TRUMPF laser equipment used in a manufacturing operation.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2 years of CNC laser cutting experience required
  • Fiber optic/CNC laser operating experience preferred
  • TRUMPF laser experience is a plus
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing/shop environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. routinely
  • Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and resolve minor machine issues
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Ability to follow safety and production procedures
Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC fiber optic laser cutting equipment
  • Set up and monitor laser cutting operations
  • Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy
  • Perform routine machine checks and minor troubleshooting
