The Role

We are seeking an entry-level GIS Analyst with excellent communication skills to join our team. As part of FF37’s fiber-to-the-home construction process, the successful candidate will be responsible for mediating changes to GIS polygons and service location coordinates, utilizing GIS software to edit and maintain geospatial databases. This opportunity is part of a Network Planning academy that will include a telecom training program and be part of in-person cohort at our downtown Denver, CO office.

Work Location -This role will report daily in person to the Denver, CO office.

The Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and modify polygons representing areas being enabled with fiber in coordination with planning, engineering, and construction team.

  • Enact requested changes to GIS polygons and service location coordinates

  • Utilize GIS software to edit and update geospatial databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

  • Follow established processes to ensure accurate location data for fiber network builds.

The Junior Fiber GIS Analyst is a strong, self-motivated individual with the ability to communicate professionally in a dynamic and fast paced environment while maintaining the highest level of integrity and quality in their work. Required skills, tools, and guidelines for this position will be taught during the first month of employment.

Main Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field.

Compensation

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

 Location Based Pay Ranges:

$65,000-$108,000
