Fiber Optic Splicer

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico
No Experience Required

We’re hiring an experienced Fiber Optic Splicer to perform clean, straightforward splicing work. Your focus is on splicing, closing out terminals, and completing quality checks — no pulling, drilling, or construction labor. You’ll also receive additional training to grow your skills and advance into multiple areas of fiber and telecom.
What You’ll Do

  • Splice fiber using a fusion splicer
  • Close out terminal boxes and ensure clean, organized work
  • Verify light levels and complete all quality checks
  • Build and close FOSC enclosures as needed
  • Document splices, counts, OTDR results, cut sheets, and photos
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
  • Read splice plans and basic blueprints

What You'll Need

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to pass background and drug screening
  • Strong attention to detail and clear communication
