Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm that is currently looking for a Systems Business Analyst to fill a contract HVAC Training position in Jasper, AL.

Estimated duration is 2 years.



JOB DESCRIPTION


US Citizenship required.


• This position is for an HVAC Trainer who will need to prepare training materials.

• Extensive field experience and application of the following methods and techniques desired: Air distribution, refrigeration and electrical theory

• Total HVAC system application, installation, performance analysis and service

• Troubleshooting HVAC air distribution, refrigeration and electrical systems

• HVAC servicing procedures; principles of heat transfer, thermal building construction, interpreting electrical schematic diagrams, wiring applications

• Electrical codes; electrical circuitry, solid state devices, psychometrics and enthalpy functions

• Refrigeration piping, refrigerant evacuation procedures, good safety practices, load calculations (Residential), duct design (Residential), duct board fabrication and installation skills, computer graphics, customer relations

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Classroom instruction including preparation and development of classroom materials.

• State of Alabama Contractor's Certification (Active or Inactive) required



MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Promote quality HVAC installation/service by: Design and develop course training materials including instructor guides, participant guides, handouts, and job aids.

• Preparing self for course instruction including coordinating, instructing and evaluating hands-on, performance-based training

• Assist students by analyzing system performance, troubleshooting and servicing with emphasis in diagnostics of refrigerant, electrical and air distribution systems

• Lead by example in practicing safety in all aspects of the job and by demonstrating a total commitment to safe practices in service procedures.

• Must be a team player possessing the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively.



This position may require some bending, lifting, climbing, prolonged sitting, prolonged walking, walking on gravel or crawling when necessary.
