FFE is the largest nationwide asset-based temperature-controlled LTL transportation & warehousing provider. We are seeking a Check-In Representative for our Stockton, CA location.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for checking in inbound paperwork from Drivers - POD's, BOL's, Receipts, etc.
  • Creating all Driver packets for next day shipments which would include BOL's
  • Commit to and receive detailed customer load information by telephone, fax or email
  • Ensuring drivers have adequate information to secure their assigned pickups
  • Monitor and trace loads so that follow up can be made when necessary
  • Manage service issues by researching and coding all applicable information in the system
  • Maintaining safety and temperate sheets
  • Maintaining freight select reports for billing purposes
  • Investigating missing delivery receipts
  • Maintaining blank manifest information for dispatch
  • Other duties assigned by Management

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • AS400 and Transportation knowledge is preferred, but not required
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills
  • Capability of working under tight time constraints in a high volume environment with multiple priorities
  • Basic computer skills, Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, etc.
  • Strong Customer Service skills
  • Must be able to work independently or in a team setting
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with operations personnel, management and executive management
  • Ability to solve problem where work is defined with established instructions and processes
  • Timely and efficient completion of tasks and responsibilities
