The Pediatric Cardiology Physician will:
Weare seeking a skilled Pediatric Cardiologist to join our multidisciplinary cardiac care team at The Children's Hospital atSaint Peter's University Hospital.
About Our Pediatric Cardiac Center
Asa state-designated acute care children's hospital, our dedicated team ofboard-certified pediatric cardiologists, cardiac nurse practitioners, andcardiac technologists provides comprehensive cardiovascular services forinfants, children, and young adults with congenital and acquired heart disease,arrhythmias, and electrical disorders.
We treat: Congenital heart defects, heart murmurs, congestive heart failure, arrhythmias,rheumatic fever, Kawasaki disease, cardiomyopathies, and valvular disorders.
OurPediatric Cardiac Center provides consultative services throughout thehospital, including our renowned Level IV NICU, PICU, and Pediatric EmergencyDepartment. We coordinate advanced cardiology and cardiothoracic surgicalservices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and manage congenital and acquired heart diseases in patients from neonatal period through young adulthood
  • Perform and interpret echocardiograms, EKGs, stress tests, Holter monitors, and fetal echocardiograms, fetal imaging
  • Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations as appropriate
  • Provide inpatient consultations across NICU, PICU, medical/surgical units, and Emergency Department
  • Manage outpatient cardiology clinic for chronic cardiac conditions
  • Coordinate care with pediatric cardiac surgeons and subspecialists
  • Participate in fetal cardiology program with prenatal consultations
  • Counsel families about diagnoses, treatment options, and long-term management
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary cardiac team
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:
• Successful completion of an appropriate ACGME or AOA accredited residency and/or fellowship.
• Board certification or eligibility from the appropriate specialty or subspecialty board.
• Must qualify for Saint Peter's University Hospital Liability insurance
• MD or DO licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
• CDS and DEA licensed or eligible for licensure
• Preferred: BLS, ACLS, PALS certification; advanced echocardiography experience; Interest in fetal cardiology, interventional procedures, or electrophysiology
Full-time clinical base compensation at Saint Peter's Healthcare System ranges from 175,000 - 750,000 USD, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience and productivity. The base compensation range listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
