As a family-oriented company, JFD is committed to high standards of service, safety, and client satisfaction. We are seeking a dedicated Lawn Application Technician to join our team. In this role, you will operate lawn care equipment, apply materials to lawns and landscapes, and help maintain the quality and appearance of our clients’ properties. Responsibilities
  • Safely and efficiently operate lawn care equipment to apply fertilizers, weed control, and other materials to client properties.
  • Complete tasks assigned by the Account Manager or Supervisor, ensuring all work meets company standards.
  • Interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner, representing JFD’s values at all times.
  • Perform daily preventative maintenance on company vehicles and equipment.
  • Maintain company yard, buildings, vehicles, trailers, and client work sites in a neat, clean, and organized manner.
  • Follow JFD’s Lawn Care program and adhere to all safety rules and procedures.
  • Perform basic equipment maintenance and repairs as needed.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a lawn application technician.
  • Ability to operate lawn care equipment.
  • Physically able to handle the workload, including lifting up to 50 pounds and having full range of mobility in upper and lower body.
  • Ability to communicate in English.
  • Valid Ohio Driver’s License and ability to be insured to drive company vehicles.
  • Ability to drive and back up a truck and trailer.
Compensation

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience. Overtime is paid at time and a half for hours worked over 40 per week.
