What is a fertility account manager?

A Fertility Account Manager is a professional who acts as a liaison between fertility clinics, healthcare providers, and sometimes patients, overseeing the management and growth of accounts related to fertility services or products. Their responsibilities often include building relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring client satisfaction, managing sales and service delivery, and supporting clinics in implementing fertility solutions. They may work for pharmaceutical companies, fertility clinics, or medical device firms, and must stay informed about developments in reproductive medicine and fertility treatments. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a fertility account manager?

To thrive as a Fertility Account Manager, you generally need a background in healthcare sales, knowledge of fertility treatments, and a relevant bachelor’s degree. Familiarity with CRM systems, data analytics tools, and industry-specific compliance certifications is often required. Exceptional interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and proactive communication help build trust and maintain strong client relationships. These competencies are crucial for driving business growth, ensuring client satisfaction, and navigating the complexities of the fertility healthcare market.

How does a fertility account manager typically collaborate with medical professionals and clinics to support patient care?

As a Fertility Account Manager, you will regularly work alongside physicians, clinic administrators, and nursing staff to ensure that patients receive timely access to fertility products and services. Job description

About Evvy

At Evvy, we believe the female body shouldn’t be a medical mystery.

We are a precision women’s health company leveraging the vaginal microbiome to improve outcomes across a woman's lifespan. Backed by $30M+ from leading investors, we serve over 100,000 patients and 2,000 providers nationwide with our validated Vaginal Microbiome Test and AI-powered personalized care platform.

Through this work, we have built the world’s largest dataset on the vaginal microbiome — a proprietary foundation that will drive breakthroughs in infertility, preterm birth, gynecological cancers, and beyond.

Why join now?
  • We’ve built a dataset no one has. Evvy has generated the world’s largest vaginal microbiome dataset from 100,000+ patients, uncovering novel biological markers underlying women’s health conditions that collectively cost the healthcare system $180B+ annually.

  • Validated, AI-first platform. We’ve built a comprehensive testing and care platform that unlocks personalized treatment pathways for each patient. Our work is supported by research published in major peer-reviewed journals and presented at major clinical conferences (including ACOG, ASRM, IDSOG, and more).

  • Proven traction, massive opportunity. We serve 100,000+ patients and 2,000 providers nationwide, with rapidly growing revenue and an expanding suite of diagnostics and treatments to improve outcomes across condition areas. We've only scratched the surface.

  • Top tier team, investors, and partners. Our world-class team is backed by industry leading investors, including General Catalyst, Left Lane Capital, US Fertility, and Labcorp.

We're looking for high-horsepower, mission-driven people who find it unacceptable that the female body is still a medical mystery — and want to help change that.

About the Role

We’re looking for our first dedicated fertility commercial hire. You’ll help build the fertility GTM motion from the ground up: refining the narrative, shaping provider adoption, building relationships across care teams, and translating real-world clinic feedback into commercial and product strategy.

You’ll join Evvy at a pivotal moment as we expand deeper into fertility and reproductive health. Working closely with commercial leadership, you’ll help define how a new category of precision medicine reaches fertility patients.

Success in this role requires someone who genuinely enjoys going deep with providers — understanding how clinics operate, what patients need, and how to build trust over time with REIs, nurses, care coordinators, embryologists, and the broader fertility ecosystem.

This role is ideal for someone who:

  • Loves the early days of a category-defining product
  • Wants real ownership and revenue accountability
  • Is energized by education-driven selling
  • Wants to shape the future of fertility care, not just sell into it

Evvy is a primarily in-person team based in New York, NY. Given the cross-functional nature of this role, our ideal candidate is located in NYC.

What You'll Do Build the Fertility GTM Motion
  • Help design and refine Evvy’s fertility sales playbook: outreach strategy, discovery, clinical narrative, objection handling, onboarding, and expansion
  • Partner with commercial leadership to build scalable sales infrastructure and operational systems
  • Develop training materials and clinical education resources for future hires and partners
  • Continuously refine positioning and messaging based on real-world clinic feedback
Own Revenue & Relationships
  • Own a revenue target and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through expansion
  • Build deep relationships across fertility care teams — including REIs, nurses, care coordinators, embryologists, and practice leadership
  • Drive adoption and utilization within partner clinics by identifying workflow barriers and integration opportunities
  • Represent Evvy at fertility conferences and industry events, including ASRM and PCRS
Be the Voice of the Fertility Provider
  • Serve as a critical feedback loop between clinics and Evvy’s Product, Clinical, and Marketing teams
  • Help shape clinical education materials, onboarding experiences, evidence generation priorities, and provider-facing messaging
  • Bring structured insights from the field that influence Evvy’s fertility strategy over time
What We're Looking For

You are:

  • Already embedded in the fertility ecosystem, with relationships and credibility that precede you
  • Excited by bringing innovative clinical products into provider workflows
  • Energized by education-heavy selling and long-term relationship building
  • Drawn to ambiguity, ownership, and building before the roadmap is fully defined
  • Motivated by real revenue ownership and measurable impact
  • Naturally curious about fertility science, diagnostics, and precision medicine
  • Someone who earns trust easily across both clinical and operational stakeholders

You have:

  • 5+ years of experience in complex diagnostics in fertility
  • Direct experience selling into fertility clinics and building relationships with REIs and fertility care teams
  • Experience in an early-stage or early-commercial startup environment
  • Strong communication skills across both clinical and non-clinical audiences
  • Willingness to travel to clinics, conferences, and partner meetings

Helpful but not required:

  • Experience launching a novel clinical product or category
  • Familiarity with microbiome science or precision medicine
Working at Evvy

Evvy is a primarily in-person team based in New York, NY with a strong culture of collaboration and connection. We work from the office 4 days a week (Wednesdays remote), and we genuinely enjoy spending time together: team dinners, happy hours, and shared wins are part of the rhythm here.

Our Values
  • Start with the why. We tie everything back to a user need or company goal.
  • Figure it out. We take initiative, embrace ambiguity, and build from first principles.
  • Create win-wins. We solve problems with patients, partners, and the business in mind.
  • Own it to the end. We close every loop and take pride in the details.
  • Stay eleven steps ahead. We anticipate, plan, and act with foresight and speed.
Company Benefits
  • Flexible PTO
  • $1K learning and development budget
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance, plus HSA plans
  • 401(k) plan (Roth and traditional)
  • Monthly team events
  • Free Evvy membership
  • Paid parental leave

Evvy is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion. We welcome applicants of all backgrounds and do not discriminate based on race, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, or other protected characteristics.

All communications will come from an @evvy.com email address.
