Are you looking for a steady, active job outside the standard warehouse or retail environment? Lucius Fence & Decking is expanding our field installation crews. We are a premier outdoor construction company with a 35-year track record of excellence in Northwest Ohio.
We are currently hiring dependable, hardworking individuals for the role of Fencing Laborer with Paid Training. Headquartered in New Riegel, OH, our crews service residential, commercial, and agricultural projects throughout the region, including regular job sites in Tiffin, Findlay, and the greater Toledo area.
No prior construction experience is required. If you have a strong work ethic, a valid driver's license, and enjoy working outdoors, we will provide 100% paid training to help you build a profitable, long-term trade.

What You Will Do (Day-to-Day Responsibilities)
As a field laborer, you will report to our New Riegel shop and travel in company vehicles to project locations across Northwest Ohio (Tiffin, Findlay, Toledo, etc.). Working alongside an experienced crew leader, you will: [1, 2]
  • Assist in the installation of wood, vinyl, aluminum, chain link, and netting fences.
  • Measure, mark, and accurately lay out fence lines according to project blueprints.
  • Dig post holes, set structural posts, and mix/pour concrete bases.
  • Ensure all fence lines and gates are perfectly level, structurally secure, and meet our high quality standards.
  • Load, unload, and safely transport heavy construction materials and equipment.
  • Safely operate everyday hand tools, power tools, and specialized post-driving equipment.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free job sites.
  • Provide professional, polite service when interacting with local property owners and clients. [1]

  • Backgrounds in landscaping, farming, roofing, manufacturing, or general outdoor labor are a plus, but not required.
