Job description

Our ILAs provide guidance to students in the dormitories and help them gain the life skills needed for achievement in the program, employment and self-sufficiency. At the Hubert H. Humphrey Job Corps Center, operated by Education and Training Resources (ETR), we have creative and caring staff who help our students realize their potential.
MAIN DUTIES:
• Foster effective group living relations and promote a positive atmosphere
• Assure accountability of students, maintain records and report incidents
• Direct and assist with activities and engage with students
• Perform room inspections and assist with cleaning and sanitizing
• Serve as a role model; mentor and monitor students

WORK SCHEDULE: Full-time working from 3:00 pm to midnight on either Thursday through Monday or Friday through Tuesday

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or GED; valid Minnesota driver's license with acceptable driving record; and ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, reach and climb stairs; residential experience in a dormitory or group home preferred
PAY AND BENEFITS: $23.50 per hour plus 12 paid holidays; paid vacation and sick time; 401(k) with match; and medical, dental and vision insurance
