Job description

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Non-Emergency Medical Transport Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers and goods to designated locations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and effective communication with passengers and team members.

Our ultimate goal is to give our customers the best service while also ensuring our team members are happy and safe! PDQ Delivery is dedicated to providing reliable curb to curb transportation services for individuals.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate our company vehicle.
  • Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of passengers at scheduled locations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, performing regular pre/post trip inspections to ensure safety standards are met.
  • Communicate effectively with passengers regarding schedules, routes, and any changes in plans.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing passenger inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
  • Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage and passenger counts.

Skills

  • Strong customer service skills to enhance passenger experience.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with passengers and team members.
  • Previous experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver is a plus.
  • Capability to maintain vehicles in good working condition through regular inspections and basic maintenance tasks.
  • A valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle being operated.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Must be willing to travel anywhere in the Central area of Indiana.
  • Must have an open availability between the hours of 3am-:730pm
