Location: Lyons, GA

Pay rate - $13.50/hr

Shift - Monday - Thursday 7:00 a.m. - until production is complete.

Some Friday's may be required


Job Summary:

Loins placed in through according to style of pack being run. Solid and Chunk appearance should be noticeable when cans are filled. Feed machine in continuous/steady manner assuring no gaps in feeding. Stop conveyor when fish in unavailable. Maintain a clean work area. Comply with Company policies and safety procedures. Never put body parts inside of moving equipment, this act may lead to possible amputation. Cans should never be handled without proper use of cut resistant gloves.


Responsibilities

  1. Cut resistant gloves are to be always worn along with latex gloves.
  2. Receive work assignment from Supervisor/Team Leader.
  3. Operate cleaning table belt to maintain proper amount of fish loins delivered to packing. machine by pushing the start and/or stop buttons located above the feeder work station.
  4. Pick up loins from table belt and place in packer feed belt. DO NOT MIX LOINS.
  5. Report any machine problems or safety hazards to Mechanic and/or Supervisor.
  6. Keep work area clean and safe.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/Team Leader.
  8. Comply with Company policies and safety requirements.
  9. No jewelry, hairpins, fake nails, loose clothing allowed at any time.


MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  1. High School Diploma or Equivalent
  2. Minimum 1 year Manufacturing experience
  3. Good eye/hand coordination
  4. Good communication skills
  5. Must be able to identify various fish types
  6. Able to work any shift including overtime and/or weekends
