The Mailroom Courier / Print Operator is an integral part of the Gainwell Technologies team, responsible for supporting mailroom operations, document processing, courier services, print production, and records management activities. This position performs a variety of tasks including sorting and processing incoming mail, delivering mail to the U.S. Post Office, FedEx, and client offices, operating print equipment, and preparing documents for imaging and automated work distribution systems.

In addition, this role is responsible for ensuring the secure storage, maintenance, and timely retrieval of confidential records, reports, and materials related to Fiscal Agent Operations for the Florida Medicaid Account. The Mailroom Courier / Print Operator must adhere to all security, confidentiality, and compliance requirements when handling sensitive information.

Your role in our mission
  • Receive, open, sort, and prepare incoming mail for processing within contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Deliver outgoing and incoming mail to the U.S. Post Office, FedEx, and designated client offices.
  • Produce printed materials by following job specifications and operating, adjusting, troubleshooting, and maintaining print equipment.
  • Perform quality control inspections of printed materials to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to production standards.
  • Review and prepare confidential documents for routing to the appropriate department and batch documents for scanning into an automated work distribution system.
  • Review and process special task requests within the automated work distribution system to resolve imaging discrepancies and fulfill document retrieval or distribution requests.
  • Maintain the secure storage and organization of confidential records, reports, and materials related to Fiscal Agent Operations for the Florida Medicaid Account.
  • Ensure timely retrieval, distribution, and return of confidential records in accordance with operational procedures and security protocols.
  • Perform the deactivation, documentation, and secure disposal of Plastic Medicaid Identification Cards (PMICs) in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Support additional operational and administrative duties as assigned while assisting with inventory management and tracking of mailroom, printing, and records storage materials.
What we're looking for
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record 
  • Previous experience in mailroom operations, document processing, records management, print production, or document imaging preferred.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds in a mailroom environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Ability to operate a vehicle for business responsibilities, providing courier services 
What you should expect in this role

This is an onsite position in Tallahassee, FL

The hours of operation are Monday- Friday from 7:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. EST

  • Video cameras must be on during interviews and initial orientation week.
  • Assessment Requirement: Candidates will be required to complete a skills and competency assessment before advancing to the next stage of the selection process.

The pay range for this position is $28,500.00 - $40,700.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
