Job description

Sands Anderson PC is seeking an experienced Office Services Assistant to work in our downtown Richmond office to handle assignments in facilities, office services and file management to include, but not limited to:
  • Process incoming and outgoing U.S. Mail, Certified Mail, FedEx and UPS
  • Handle research of missing packages
  • Handle large document copy projects
  • Coordinate courier services
  • Process daily firm deposit
  • Run new matter conflict checks
  • Assist with office moves
  • Handle scanning projects of mail and closed files
  • Use enhanced technology/equipment capabilities to complete large scanning/copy projects
  • Order and stock supplies
  • Pay vendor invoices
  • Work with staff to move and process closed files

Skills and Education Requirements:
  • High School degree or equivalent education and/or experience. College degree preferred.
  • Excellent customer service, communication and computer skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPDF, scanning required. Key operator and franking machine operation.
  • Ability coordinate with vendors, office personnel, building management, cleaning personnel, etc.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, problem solve and see projects through to completion.
  • Ability lift boxes and move furniture.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and work quality.
  • Team oriented with ability to work well independently and within a small office environment.
  • Ability to work a regularly assigned schedule amounting to 37.5 hour per work week with flexibility to work any schedule between the business hours of 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. as business needs dictate.

Pay rate: $20/hour
