Job description

Essential Job Functions – Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate and support the distribution of finished goods and spare parts by:
    • Identify and meet on-time delivery requirements
    • Satisfy customer delivery requirements
    • Schedule freight companies
    • Pick and ship domestic and international sales and transfer orders within ERP system
  • Perform receiving function daily
    • Verify counts of parts received from production and suppliers
    • Receive Purchase Orders and Work Orders in ERP system
    • Stock parts on shelves in designated storage locations defined by
  • Perform cycle counts
    • Count parts
    • Assist with verifications and system entry
    • Identify root cause and corrective action for inventory discrepancies
    • Reconcile inventory inaccuracies
  • Complete Point of Use replenishment
  • Perform order verifications
  • Generate packing lists and shipping documentation for domestic and international orders
  • Pick work orders for assembly and relieves inventory from ERP system
  • Maintain accurate inventory
  • Regularly operate a forklift
  • Support distribution activities such as packing, crating and forklift requirements
  • Ability to train others on all aspects of warehouse duties
  • Identify needs of Warehouse Team and move to most critical function as required
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Education – Experience – Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience working in shipping portals (UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc.) required
  • Minimum 3 years of previous shipping and receiving experience required
  • Qualified/certified forklift driver
  • Intermediate to Advanced PC, Microsoft Office skills required
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills: written and oral
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, handling frequent interruptions and shifting priorities
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
  • Be organized and efficient
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English
  • Demonstrated self-motivation and self-discipline traits
  • Have a positive and flexible attitude
  • Excellent interpersonal skills needed to deal with a wide range of individuals
