FedEx line haul drivers are responsible for transporting packages over long distances, often working overnight or irregular hours. The job offers steady employment with benefits, but it can involve physical labor, tight schedules, and safety considerations. Compensation varies by location and experience, and a commercial driver's license (CDL) is typically required.

How does FedEx linehaul work?

FedEx linehaul involves transporting large shipments between distribution centers using tractor-trailers. Drivers typically operate on scheduled routes, often during overnight hours, and must adhere to safety and delivery standards. The role requires knowledge of logistics, route planning, and compliance with transportation regulations.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a FedEx Line Haul driver, and why are they important?

To thrive as a FedEx Line Haul driver, you need a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL), a clean driving record, and knowledge of DOT regulations. These abilities ensure timely, safe deliveries and regulatory compliance while maintaining FedEx's high service standards.
