Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Shipping and Receiving Clerk to support our fast-paced electronics manufacturing operations. This role is essential to ensuring the accurate handling, packaging, and movement of sensitive electronic components and finished goods. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, particularly with FEDEX and UPS systems, and a solid understanding of inventory control in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Shipping & Logistics:
  • Package and ship domestic and international orders, ensuring proper handling of electrostatic-sensitive devices (ESD).
  • Perform dimensional and weight analysis; provide rate quotes to the sales team.
  • Process shipments using automated carrier systems (FEDEX, UPS, DHL).
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders and logistics partners for timely pickups.
  • Resolve export documentation issues in collaboration with sales, customers, and carriers.
  • Audit outgoing kits and assemblies for accuracy and completeness before shipment.

Receiving & Inventory Management:
  • Receive incoming materials from suppliers and internal manufacturing departments.
  • Accurately log and label components, ensuring traceability and compliance with quality standards.
  • Retrieve materials per work orders and deliver kits to the production floor.
  • Identify and report material shortages or discrepancies.
  • Replenish floor stock and maintain optimal inventory levels.
