What are FedEx Ground Contractors?

FedEx Ground Contractors are independent business owners who enter into a contractual agreement with FedEx Ground to provide package pickup and delivery services. They typically own and operate their own vehicles and hire drivers to fulfill daily routes assigned by FedEx Ground. These contractors are responsible for staffing, payroll, vehicle maintenance, and ensuring that deliveries meet FedEx’s standards for service and safety. While they represent the FedEx brand, they are not employees of FedEx but operate independently under the contractor model.
