What is a FedEx driver per diem?

FedEx drivers per diem refers to the daily allowance that FedEx drivers may receive to cover expenses such as meals and incidental costs while they are traveling for work or away from their home terminal. This per diem is designed to offset out-of-pocket expenses that aren't reimbursed through regular pay. The specific amount and eligibility for per diem can vary based on the driver's route, employment status (such as contractor or full-time), and company policies. Drivers should check with their employer or FedEx contractor company for details about per diem rates and requirements.
