Job description

ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT STUDENT EMPLOYEE
JOB SUMMARY:
The Student Employee will support the daily operations of the Cleary University Athletic Department. This role provides hands-on experience in athletics administration, game day operations, marketing, and office management while promoting a positive environment for Cleary University Athletics.
JOB DUTIES:
  1. Set up and break down athletic facilities for home events such as placing signage, setting up scorer's table and arranging chairs and benches
  2. Operate the scoreboard, shot clock and game clock for sports such as hockey, soccer, baseball and softball
  3. Serve as a public address announcer when needed
  4. Ensure officials and visiting teams have required accommodations
  5. Capture in-game photos or videos for marketing and social media
  6. Assist with livestream broadcasts, including camera operation
  7. Serve as front desk attendant and answer phone calls and greet visitors
  8. Monitor Wellness Center and weight room after hours and responsible for securing the building
  9. Any other duties assigned by the Athletic Administration.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Current Cleary University in good academic standing
  2. Interest in sports management, event operations, sports communications or related fields
  3. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  4. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and flexible hours based on event schedules
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
