ECU Office of Innovation and Engagement is currently seeking a Program Assistant. The primary role of this position is to maintain databases, evaluate and assess projects, assist with event planning and management, and complete other projects as assigned.
Duties to include:
Research including literature review as well as assembly of background material on various topics relevant to programs offered through the OER;
Create evaluation tools including surveys;
Manage and analyze data
Update and maintain databases
Develop and implement project plans
Researching and co-planning the potential stops and create material for Bus Tour
Other tasks as assigned

START AND END DATE: Position will run Sept 1, 2026, to April 30, 2027. The student will be expected to share his or her availability with the supervisor and communicate effectively if time off is needed.
GPA Requirement Minimum of 2.0 Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.)
Demonstrate interest in economic or community engagement;
Have analytical skills and experience with research or evaluation projects;
Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects; and,
Have strong verbal and written communication skills.

To be eligible for FEDERAL WORK STUDY positions, students MUST QUALIFY and RECEIVE a FEDERAL WORK STUDY AWARD from the ECU Financial Aid Office (Old Cafeteria Complex, 252-328-6610.)
