The Role
The Associate Project Manager / Project Manager will oversee cross-functional programs across research, development, and operational teams. This role will partner closely with scientists, technical experts, and executive leadership to ensure projects are executed efficiently, risks are managed proactively, and key milestones are achieved on schedule.
The ideal candidate combines strong project management expertise with an understanding of the biotechnology industry and the ability to navigate complex, fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource forecasts.
  • Coordinate project activities across functions and external partners.
  • Track project progress against key milestones, deliverables, and objectives.
  • Develop mitigation strategies and escalation plans.
  • Facilitate project team meetings and ensure clear communication of decisions, risks, and action items.
  • Foster collaboration and resolve issues that may impact timelines, scope, or quality.
  • Drive accountability and alignment across stakeholders to maintain project momentum.
  • Support strategic planning and prioritization activities across multiple programs.
  • Prepare project updates, dashboards, and executive-level presentations.
  • Support portfolio review meetings and governance processes.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of project management or project coordination experience; or Advanced degree (MS, PhD, or ScD) with 2+ years demonstrated experience contributing to or leading cross-functional project teams.
  • Experience managing timelines and deliverables and driving execution toward strategic objectives.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience using project management tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships, influence without authority, and drive alignment across diverse stakeholders.

Candidates will be considered for either the Associate Project Manager or Project Manager level based on experience and demonstrated project leadership capabilities.
Salary Range: $105,000-$140,000
