At Persons Services, we believe in hiring “A Players” who lead with integrity and align with our Core Values. Our team thrives on collaboration, innovation, and the pursuit of excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all onsite field operations and maintain full accountability for safety, quality, schedule, and budget performance from startup through closeout.
  • Coordinate daily activities with the Project Manager and broader project team to ensure seamless execution.
  • Develop and maintain project execution plans, short-interval schedules, and the overall construction schedule.
  • Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, government representatives, and client stakeholders.
  • Organize and maintain current contract documents, drawings, specifications, federal submittals, and project records.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspections, and deliveries to keep work flowing and milestones on track.
  • Ensure full compliance with project specifications, federal contract requirements, EM 385-1-1, and all company standards.
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, RMS/QCS documentation, and comprehensive photo documentation.
  • Review and help resolve onsite RFIs, field conflicts, and construction issues in real time.
  • Coordinate project startup, commissioning, punch list, and closeout activities, including all federal closeout deliverables.
  • Coordinate inspections with Government representatives and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs).
  • Champion a safety-first culture and enforce company safety policies and project-specific safety plans.
  • Perform or support Superintendent, Quality Control Manager (QCM), and Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) responsibilities on qualifying projects when required.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with owners, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Exemplify our company’s commitment to safety and core values in every aspect of work.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 7+ years of commercial or federal construction experience preferred.
  • Prior experience serving as a Superintendent and/or Quality Control Manager on a federal project required.
  • Ability to pass federal background checks and obtain base access credentials as required.
  • Proven track record managing federal, military, municipal, healthcare, institutional, or other technically complex projects required.
  • USACE, NAVFAC, and/or Veterans Affairs project experience required.
  • Familiarity with EM 385-1-1 safety requirements preferred.
  • Quality Control Management (QCM) experience preferred; current QCM certification and/or SSHO qualifications preferred.
  • Experience serving in dual-role or triple-hat capacities as Superintendent, QCM, and SSHO preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, quality control, and field coordination.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, RMS/QCS, or similar platforms preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
  • Willingness and ability to travel for projects throughout the Southeastern United States and U.S. Territories as required.
  • Someone who embodies our Core Values and represents our company with distinction.

What We Offer

  • High-impact leadership opportunity with path to executive growth
  • Industry-leading benefits and competitive compensation
  • Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Company-paid life insurance policy and short-term disability coverage
  • 401(k) with up to 4% company match
  • Paid time off and 9 paid holidays annually
