About the role
As a Software AG webMethods Lead, you will make an impact by providing application support and handling minor enhancements in webMethods. You will be a valued member of the Integration & Middleware team and work collaboratively with engineering teams, architects, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders.
In this role, you will:
- Provide webMethods integration application solutions support, including trouble shooting and coding.
- Support API and microservices development using REST, SOAP, and Java-based services
- Responsible for minor enhancement within webMethods
What you need to have to be considered
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Software AG webMethods integration development
• Experience with webMethods Integration Server, Universal Messaging, Deployer, Command Central, and Asset Build Environment
• Familiar with APIs (REST/SOAP) and microservices using Java and integration frameworks
• Knowledge of DevOps practices including CI/CD, automation, and pipeline implementation
• Familiar with GCP or similar cloud platforms
• Experience with relational databases such as MS SQL and stored procedures
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Working knowledge of DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, and GitLab
• Experience with logging and monitoring tools such as Log4j, ELK, and Splunk

• Exposure to large-scale distributed systems and cloud-native architecture
• Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills

Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $71,000 - 81,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
